Sailing Blog

I have been into sailing in someway or another since I was knee high to a grass hopper. I guess I first started with windsurfing and small Hobie Cats (Catamaran) and later full size yachts, that you can overnight on or indeed spend longer on.

There is something incredibly beautiful about a sail boat under sail. It is almost indescribable, but of course I have to give it go, since this is a blog!

I get a similar feeling as when I see a beautiful animal in the wild. However mixed with this is a sense of melancholy and nostalgia perhaps. I think it has something to do with the theoretical potential for sail boat to sail the world under no more than the power of the wind. It could also be something about the genius and elegance inherent in form and function of a yacht.

I will post sailing images and stories, here from time to time. If you can I suggest you register for updates.
